I test AI tools on real marketing work, then write up what actually held up. That's the whole site. No predictions about the future of work, no tool roundups copied out of press releases. I run the thing on my own projects, with my own money on the line, and then I tell you what happened. ## What I do I build one-person marketing teams out of AI tools. Not "AI writes my captions." I mean connecting the software you already pay for, your docs, your email platform, your analytics, your keyword research, directly into an AI model so it can read your real data and do real work against it. Pull your last 30 videos and find the pattern. Draft a script from research instead of vibes. Read your numbers and tell you what to fix first. Most people are still using AI as a chatbot in a browser tab. Copy something in, copy something out. That works, barely. The moment your actual tools are connected to it, the ceiling moves. ## Who I help Creators and solo marketers doing the work of five people who want the output of five people. Usually one of these: - A YouTuber with an audience and no system to make money from it - Someone with a real skill or niche, no channel yet, no idea where to start - A solopreneur with something to sell who is drowning in the marketing side of it - A small business owner who can't justify paying an agency If you're looking for a shortcut that skips the work, this is the wrong site. ## What I've done I made six figures from a YouTube channel with under 10,000 subscribers, through affiliate marketing and recurring offers. Not a big audience. A specific one. I launched a product that did $4,000 in its first three days. I ran a mastermind with Jasper.ai, including high-ticket recurring members. I spent years as head coach for a 4,000-member community, teaching affiliate marketing and personal brand building. And I've been doing content marketing, SEO, and YouTube long enough to have watched a few "this changes everything" waves come and go. That's most of why I'm careful about what I recommend here. ## How I think about AI The model isn't the point. The connection is. Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini are all good enough now. The gap between someone getting real work out of AI and someone getting mediocre paragraphs is almost never the model. It's whether the model can see anything. An AI with no access to your data is a confident stranger guessing. An AI connected to your analytics, your past content, your keyword research, and your inbox is something else entirely. It has context, and context is the whole game. ## Connecting your tools to AI This is the part I teach most, because it's the part almost nobody sets up. MCP, short for Model Context Protocol, is an open standard from Anthropic that lets an AI model talk to outside software. You connect a tool once, and from then on the model can read from it and act on it. Notion, Gmail, Google Sheets, your CRM, your email platform, your analytics, your scraping and research tools. In practice that turns a chat window into something closer to a coworker. Instead of pasting your data in every time, you ask a question and it goes and gets the answer from the actual source. Instead of asking for "10 video ideas," you ask for ideas grounded in what's already outperforming in your niche this month. The setup takes an afternoon. The difference is permanent. ## What I use and recommend The short list, all of it in regular use: - **Claude Desktop** as the main workspace, including **Cowork** for multi-step work and **Claude for Chrome** for anything that needs a browser - **Claude Skills** for repeatable workflows I don't want to re-explain every time - **MCP connectors** to wire the rest of the stack in - **Monid** and **Exa** for research and scraping, including YouTube, Reddit, and search data - **vidIQ** for finding outlier videos and validating ideas before I make them - **Notion** for the content system, **Kit** for email, **Tella** for recording and editing Tools change. The approach doesn't. Find the workflow that costs you the most hours, then connect the AI to the data that workflow needs. ## What this site is for Outlier Creator is where I publish the long-form version of all of it. Tool reviews, roundups, and step-by-step workflows you can copy. Two things I try to hold myself to. Every tool gets used on something real before I write about it. And if a tool doesn't earn its price, I say so, including when there's an affiliate link on the page. ## The YouTube channel Most of what starts here ends up on YouTube, or the other way around. The channel is [@outliercreator](https://www.youtube.com/@outliercreator), and it covers the same ground: connecting your apps to AI, building marketing systems that run without you, and the tools worth the money. The articles go deeper. The videos show you the screen. Use whichever one fits how you learn. ## Where to start If you're new here, read [the AI tools for YouTube creators breakdown](https://www.outliercreator.com/ai-tools-for-youtube/) first. It's the clearest picture of how I evaluate anything. Then pick one workflow you hate doing and connect one tool to it. That's the whole first step. ### Privacy Policy URL: https://www.outliercreator.com/privacy-policy/ Last updated: 2026-08-08T09:13:59.000Z *Last updated: 8 August 2026* This policy explains what Outlier Creator collects when you visit, why, and what you can do about it. It is written in plain English on purpose. Outlier Creator is operated by Balle Solutions LLC. You can reach me at [partners@eddyballe.com](mailto:partners@eddyballe.com). ## The short version There are no accounts on this site. There is no newsletter and no signup form. I do not sell data, I do not run advertising networks, and I do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar tracking product. ## What is actually collected ### Analytics This site uses the analytics built into Ghost, the publishing platform it runs on. It records aggregate page views, referrer, approximate country, and general device type. It uses a value stored in your browser's local storage rather than a tracking cookie, and it does not follow you to other websites. ### Server logs The hosting provider keeps standard web server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. These are retained for a limited period and are not used to build a profile of you. ### Email If you email me, I have your email address and whatever you wrote. I keep it as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. ## What is not collected - No newsletter list. There is no signup form anywhere on this site. - No accounts, logins, or member profiles. - No comments, so no comment data. - No payment information. Nothing is sold directly on this site. - No advertising or retargeting pixels. ## Third parties that load on this site A handful of services are involved in serving the pages you see: - **Ghost** and its hosting provider deliver the site and store the content. - **Cloudflare** sits in front of the site as a content delivery network and security layer. - **Bunny Fonts** serves the typefaces. It is used specifically because it does not log visitors or set cookies. - **cdnjs** serves one small open source script used for image colour handling. - **Embedded videos.** Some articles embed YouTube. When you load a page with an embed, YouTube may set its own cookies and receive your IP address. That is governed by Google's privacy policy, not this one. ## Affiliate links Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination company may set a cookie to record that the referral came from here. That cookie belongs to them and is described in their own privacy policy. I receive commission reports from those programs. Those reports tell me a sale happened, not who you are. The full details are on the [Affiliate and Earnings Disclaimer](https://www.outliercreator.com/affiliate-disclaimer/) page. ## Cookies and local storage This site sets very little on its own. Ghost stores an analytics identifier in local storage. Some interface state, such as dismissing a sidebar card, is stored for the length of your browsing session and then discarded. You can block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser at any time. Nothing on this site will stop working if you do. ## Your rights Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of any personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it is processed. Residents of the EU and UK have these rights under GDPR. California residents have comparable rights under the CCPA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Because this site holds almost nothing about individual visitors, most requests will be short conversations. Email [partners@eddyballe.com](mailto:partners@eddyballe.com) and I will respond within 30 days. I do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. ## Children This site is not directed at children under 13 and I do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, email me and I will delete it. ## International visitors This site is operated from the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, the data described above is processed in the United States and in whatever regions the providers listed above operate. ## Changes If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the current version. ## Contact Questions about this policy go to [partners@eddyballe.com](mailto:partners@eddyballe.com). ### Affiliate and Earnings Disclaimer URL: https://www.outliercreator.com/affiliate-disclaimer/ Last updated: 2026-08-08T09:33:25.000Z *Last updated: 8 August 2026* Short version: some links on this site earn me a commission, it costs you nothing extra, and it does not change what I recommend. The longer version is below, because you deserve to know exactly how this works. ## Affiliate relationships Outlier Creator, operated by Balle Solutions LLC, participates in affiliate programs. That means when I link to a product and you sign up or buy through that link, the company pays me a percentage or a flat referral fee. The price you pay is the same either way. In some cases my link carries a discount that the public price does not. Affiliate links may appear in articles, in the sidebar cards next to articles, in comparison tables, and in the resources I link to. Any article that contains affiliate links carries a disclosure saying so, so you know before you click anything. ## How I decide what to recommend This is the part that matters more than the disclosure itself. - **I use the tool first.** On real projects, not a five-minute trial for the screenshots. - **Commission does not set the ranking.** Plenty of things I recommend pay nothing at all. Some tools with generous affiliate programs are not on this site because they were not good enough. - **I say when something is not worth it.** If a tool is overpriced, half-finished, or beaten by a free alternative, that goes in the review, affiliate link or not. - **I do not accept payment for a positive review.** Companies cannot buy a placement, a rating, or a rewrite here. The full process is on the [Editorial and Review Methodology](https://www.outliercreator.com/editorial-guidelines/) page. ## Earnings disclaimer This site talks about making money online: affiliate marketing, growing an audience, and building offers. Read this part carefully. **Nothing on this site is a promise of income.** Any figures I mention, including my own results, are what happened for a specific person in a specific situation. They are examples, not averages, and they are definitely not projections for you. Your results depend on your skill, your niche, your effort, your timing, your audience, your budget, and a large amount of luck. Most people who try to make money online do not reach the numbers described in case studies anywhere, including here. That is true of every business. I make no guarantee that you will earn anything. If you are making a financial decision based on something you read here, that decision and its outcome belong to you. ## Not professional advice Content on this site is educational and reflects my own opinions and experience. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax, or business advice, and reading it does not create a professional relationship of any kind. Before making a decision with financial or legal consequences, talk to a qualified professional who knows your actual situation. ## Third-party products I do not control the tools I write about. Their pricing, features, terms, and quality change without telling me, sometimes the week after an article goes up. I update articles when I can, but you should confirm current details on the company's own site before buying. Any problem with a product you purchase is between you and that company. Balle Solutions LLC is not responsible for their product, their support, their billing, or their refund policy. ## Accuracy I try hard to be accurate and I correct mistakes when they are pointed out. Even so, articles can go out of date, and I make no warranty that everything here is complete or current. Use your own judgment. ## FTC compliance This disclosure exists to comply with the United States Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). If you ever find an affiliate link on this site that is not properly disclosed, tell me and I will fix it. ## Contact Questions about affiliate relationships or anything on this page go to [partners@eddyballe.com](mailto:partners@eddyballe.com). ### Terms of Use URL: https://www.outliercreator.com/terms/ Last updated: 2026-08-08T09:14:00.000Z *Last updated: 8 August 2026* These terms govern your use of outliercreator.com. This page exists so you can tell the difference. ## Who writes this site Everything here is written by me, Eddy Ballesteros. One person, not a content team and not a network of freelancers writing to a brief. Background and credentials are on the [About page](https://www.outliercreator.com/about/). Nothing on this site is published as AI-generated filler. I use AI heavily in my own work and I write about that openly, but articles here are researched, tested, and written by a human who used the tool. ## How a tool gets reviewed 1. **Real use first.** The tool goes into an actual project of mine before a word gets written. Usually a real video, a real article, or a real client-style workflow. 2. **Long enough to hit the limits.** Every tool looks good for ten minutes. The interesting parts show up when you push past the happy path, hit the usage caps, or try to integrate it with something else. 3. **Paid where it matters.** If the free tier is not the real product, I pay for the plan people would actually buy. 4. **Compared, not judged in isolation.** "Good" only means something against the alternative. A tool gets measured against the other options for the same job, including free ones and including doing it manually. 5. **Written with the downsides in.** Every tool has them. A review without them is an advertisement. ## What earns a recommendation The bar is simple: would I keep paying for this with my own money after the article goes up? If the answer is no, it does not get recommended, no matter what the affiliate program pays. For roundups and best-of articles, ranking is based on how well the tool does the specific job the article is about, price relative to what you get, how quickly it pays for itself, and whether it still makes sense once you are past the beginner stage. ## What money can and cannot buy **Can:** nothing that changes a ranking or a verdict. **Cannot:** a placement, a score, a rewrite, a removed criticism, or a review at all. Companies sometimes offer free accounts or review access. Taking one does not obligate a positive review, and it is disclosed where relevant. I do not accept payment in exchange for coverage, and I do not publish sponsored posts dressed up as editorial. Affiliate commission is how this site funds itself. How that works, in full, is on the [Affiliate and Earnings Disclaimer](https://www.outliercreator.com/affiliate-disclaimer/) page. ## Keeping articles current AI tools change faster than almost any other software category. Pricing shifts, features ship, companies get acquired or shut down. Best-of and comparison articles get reviewed periodically and updated when something material changes. Where an article shows a "last updated" date, that date reflects a real review of the content, not a bumped timestamp to look fresh. If a tool gets meaningfully worse, its entry gets changed or removed. That has happened and it will happen again. ## Corrections I get things wrong. When that happens I fix it rather than quietly delete it, and significant corrections are noted in the article. If you spot an error, an out-of-date price, or a claim that does not hold up, email [partners@eddyballe.com](mailto:partners@eddyballe.com). Corrections from tool vendors are welcome on the same terms as corrections from anyone else: send evidence, and if you are right, the article changes. ## Sources Claims about pricing, features, and limits come from the vendor's own documentation or from my account with them at the time of writing. Where I cite data from someone else, it is linked. Where a number is my own result, it is labelled as mine and comes with the caveats on the earnings disclaimer page. ## Contact Questions about how this site is put together go to [partners@eddyballe.com](mailto:partners@eddyballe.com). ## Posts ### Poppy AI Review: An AI Tool That Thinks As Your Brain Does URL: https://www.outliercreator.com/poppy-ai/ Last updated: 2026-06-11T05:45:45.000Z Have you ever looked at ChatGPT's empty interface and felt stuck creatively? I get it. I've tested a ton of AI marketing tools, and honestly, organizing your thoughts in a linear chat is frustrating. The worst part? You're trying to create viral content that actually works, but you're stuck in this rigid box. It jumps between ideas, connects random dots, and creates spiderwebs of creativity. But traditional AI tools force you into a rigid, top-to-bottom conversation that kills your creative flow and wastes precious research time. That's why this Poppy AI review is different. Watch my UPDATED Poppy AI Review After spending weeks testing this new AI visual workspace, I can confidently say it's revolutionizing how creators interact with AI. Stop switching between 20 browser tabs. Stop losing track of your research materials. And stop feeling trapped by linear chat interfaces when you're trying to work with different AI models and manage your existing content all in one place. Here's the quick takeaway: Poppy AI is the first tool that mirrors how creative minds work, without requiring AI prompts. But it's not for everyone (more on that below). [Try Poppy AI](https://start.getpoppy.ai/eddy) ## **What is Poppy AI?** ![Poppy AI](https://www.outliercreator.com/content/images/2026/02/Poppy-AI---1-.png) Poppy AI is basically a visual workspace that brings together different AI models. ChatGPT and Claude work together here, so you don't have to bounce between them. But here's what makes it different. You can pull in your existing content, videos, PDFs, images, voice notes, and research materials all at once. Then connect them. It's like a mind-mapping tool, but powered by actual AI. And it works across your research, your ideas, everything You just drag and drop different types of content. Connect them. And the AI helps you generate new ideas and pull insights from literally everything at once. Whether it's long-form content, short social media posts, or raw research materials from multiple platforms. Everything connects visually instead of disappearing in some chat history The tool was created by [Qazi and Naz](https://x.com/cleverqazi), who built it specifically for neurodivergent thinkers (like himself) who struggle with traditional linear AI tools. As someone with ADHD, he wanted a tool that could match his chaotic thought process while still producing organized, valuable output. **What makes Poppy AI unique is its ability to:** - Process multiple types of content simultaneously - Visualize connections between different pieces of information - Generate insights from your entire research collection - Save hours of research time by analyzing videos and documents instantly Unlike ChatGPT or Claude, which can only handle text conversations, Poppy AI creates a workspace where you can literally see all your research, ideas, and AI interactions in one place. It's like having a digital whiteboard where everything is connected and searchable. The best part? You're not limited to just one AI model. Poppy AI gives you access to ChatGPT and Claude's capabilities, letting you leverage each other's strengths for different types of content creation. It's the mother of all [AI tools for YouTube creators](https://www.outliercreator.com/ai-tools-for-youtube/). ### **Pros** - Visual workspace beats linear chat tools - Analyzes entire YouTube videos instantly - Access to multiple AI models - Saves hours of research time - Perfect for messy thinkers - Handles images, audio, and PDFs ### **Cons** - They do not offer a monthly payment - Learning curve for new users - No mobile app yet - Can feel overwhelming at first [Try Poppy AI](https://start.getpoppy.ai/eddy) ## **Personal Experience Using Poppy AI** When I first opened Poppy AI, I'll admit, I was overwhelmed. The canvas-style interface felt like looking at a blank art board. But after 15 minutes of playing around, something clicked. **The Game-Changing Moment:** I recently needed to create a YouTube video about AI tools. Instead of spending days researching and writing, I: 1. Dropped my voice profile into Poppy AI 2. Added my previous YouTube scripts 3. Included my content notes and style guide 4. Connected relevant YouTube videos for research The result? Poppy AI generated a script that sounded exactly like me. It's not that generic AI voice we all hate, but my actual writing style, complete with my signature phrases and tone. ![Poppy AI YouTube Research](https://www.outliercreator.com/content/images/2026/02/Poppy-AI-YT-Research--1-.png) I published this video on my channel. Guess what? My audience couldn't tell the difference. The video performed just as well as my manually written content, but took 80% less time to create. **My Results:** - Script writing time: 30 mins (vs 4 hours) - Research time: 15 mins (vs 2 hours) - Maintained authentic voice - Engagement stayed consistent - Freed up time for other projects [Try Poppy AI](https://start.getpoppy.ai/eddy) ## **Who Should Use Poppy AI?** While mind mapping with AI sounds cool, not everyone needs this powerful tool. But for certain creators, Poppy AI isn't just nice to have; it helps you work smarter and actually saves money on multiple AI subscriptions. You'll love Poppy AI if you're: ### **Content Creators & YouTubers** Imagine dropping 5 competitor videos into Poppy AI and getting instant insights about their hooks, storytelling patterns, and engagement triggers. **Example:** If you're a YouTuber, you can upload your top competitors' videos and get instant analysis of their hooks, patterns, and unique angles. Then, use these insights to create content that stands out in your niche. ### **Digital Marketers & Strategists** Connect customer feedback from Reddit, YouTube comments, and product reviews in one visual map. Let AI identify patterns and generate campaign ideas based on real user pain points. **Example:** If you're a marketing agency, you can simultaneously analyze hundreds of customer reviews, spot hidden patterns, and create campaigns based on real pain points your competitors missed. ### **Researchers & Students** Transform dense academic papers and lecture videos into visual knowledge maps. Connect concepts across different sources and let AI help you spot patterns and relationships. **Example:** If you're a researcher, you can process multiple academic papers at once, create visual concept maps, and identify research gaps in minutes instead of hours. ### **Business Owners** Turn chaotic business ideas into organized action plans. Create SOPs by recording voice notes and letting AI transform them into structured documents. **Example:** If you're a business owner, you can turn team meetings into detailed process documents instantly. Record voice notes, and let Poppy AI transform them into structured SOPs. ### Social Media Content Strategists and Multi-Platform Creators If you manage content across multiple platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn, Poppy AI changes everything. You can upload your existing viral videos, pull in what's working on each platform, and analyze why certain viral scripts perform better on TikTok versus YouTube. Then build long-form content strategies that you can repurpose into platform-specific posts. No more juggling five different tabs for five different platforms." [Try Poppy AI](https://start.getpoppy.ai/eddy) ### **Not Ideal For:** **Casual AI Users** **Example:** If you only need help writing basic emails or social posts, stick with ChatGPT's free version. **Linear Thinkers** **Example:** Poppy AI might feel unnecessarily complex if you prefer working directly in Google Docs with simple, text-based tools. **Occasional Users** **Example:** If you only create content once a month, the investment might not make sense for your limited needs. **Pro Tip:** *List your weekly content and research tasks before investing. Poppy AI could be a game-changer for your workflow if you spend more than 5 hours weekly on these activities.* ## **Top Benefits of Poppy AI** After testing Poppy AI for my YouTube scripts, emails, and blog posts, here's what I liked the most. **Visual Workspace That Matches Your Brain:** You won't feel trapped in linear conversations anymore. The canvas-style interface lets your ideas flow naturally, connecting thoughts like your brain. **Everything in One Place:** Are you tired of juggling multiple tools? Poppy AI handles text, video, audio, and images simultaneously. Drop a YouTube video, a PDF document, and a voice note into your workspace, and let AI analyze it all at once. **Double the AI Power**: Why choose ChatGPT and Claude when you can have both? Poppy AI gives you access to both models, saving you $40+ monthly on separate subscriptions. **Research on Steroids:** What used to take hours now takes minutes. Analyze entire YouTube videos instantly, extract key points from PDFs, and generate insights from your complete research collection. **Organization That Makes Sense:** Finally, an [AI writing tool](https://eddyballe.com/best-ai-writing-software/) that keeps your content research organized without feeling rigid. Create mind maps, connect related ideas, and never lose track of your research again. ### **Poppy AI Pricing** Poppy AI currently costs $300/year (about $25/month), making it cheaper than subscribing to ChatGPT Plus and Claude separately. Use my **coupon code "EDDY" to get $25 off**, bringing it down to $22.90/month. For what you're getting - a visual workspace, multiple AI models, and powerful research tools - it's a solid investment for serious creators. ## **Poppy AI's Best Features** As you know, Poppy AI is like ChatGPT, Claude, and Miro fused to create the most amazing product. ### **Visual Mind Mapping** Transform your scattered thoughts into organized visual maps. Unlike traditional AI tools, Poppy AI lets you create interconnected information nodes that link different pieces of content. Drag and drop elements, draw connections, and let AI help you discover relationships between ideas. This tool is perfect for brainstorming sessions, content planning, or mapping complex projects. The visual interface makes it easy to spot patterns and gaps in your research. ### NanoBanana Image Generation Generate AI images without leaving your workspace. Poppy AI now integrates NanoBanana, bringing instant image generation directly into your visual canvas. Instead of jumping to separate AI image tools, create, edit, and iterate on images while you're building your content strategy. Upload a reference image or describe what you want, and NanoBanana generates variations instantly. The AI understands the context of your workspace, so the generated images fit your content narrative rather than feeling random. ### **YouTube Video Analysis** Stop watching hours of YouTube videos at 2x speed. Poppy AI can analyze entire videos instantly, extracting key points, timestamps, and insights. You can ask specific questions about any part of the video, get summaries of key segments, or compare multiple videos simultaneously. It's like having a research assistant who watches everything for you and takes perfect notes. ### **PDF Document Analysis** Say goodbye to manual document scanning. Upload any PDF, and Poppy AI will analyze the entire document, making every piece of information searchable and actionable. Ask questions about specific sections, compare multiple documents, or extract key insights. Perfect for research papers, reports, or any text-heavy document you need to process quickly. ### **Voice Note Processing** Turn your spoken thoughts into organized content. Record voice notes directly in Poppy AI or import existing recordings; the tool will transcribe and analyze them automatically. Perfect for capturing ideas on the go, processing interviews, or converting spoken content into written form. The AI can even help you identify key themes and patterns. ### **Image Understanding** Don't just store images. Understand them. Poppy AI can analyze images, extract text, identify objects, and even understand context. Drop screenshots, diagrams, or photos into your workspace, and the AI will help you make sense of visual information. Great for analyzing charts, processing screenshots, or organizing visual research. ### **Multiple AI Model Access** With access to ChatGPT and Claude, you can get the best of both worlds. Depending on your needs, you can switch between models or let them work together. Each model has its strengths, and Poppy AI lets you leverage them all without switching between different tools or paying for multiple subscriptions. ### **Real-time Collaboration** Work together seamlessly with your team. Share workspaces, collaborate on research, and let everyone contribute to the same visual canvas. Perfect for team brainstorming, group research projects, or collaborative content creation.
